Amanda Valentín
Amanda is a Puerto Rican writer raised in Arizona. She now calls many cities/countries home — Los Angeles, London, Auckland, and Austin.

Amanda worked 10 years in the film industry as a production manager and producer for over 10 titles such as EVEREST, WONDER, and A DOG’S PURPOSE. For television, she produced HBO's Sonic Highways with Director and Musician Dave Grohl.

In 2017, Amanda’s passion for mental health, motherhood, and education led life in a new direction. Currently, Amanda is seeking to pursue a doctorate in Developmental Psychology.
She serves as CEO of her nonprofit organization, the Kaladin Foundation — where children's mental health meets cultural competency in elementary schools.

Amanda spends her days advocating for, teaching, and guiding neurodivergent children, at both work and home. She works as a special educator in elementary school, and
raises her Gifted son.

Amanda currently lives in Austin, Texas where she enjoys weightlifting, writing, baking, and hiking with her son.
